Natural beings that spawned out of evolution and walk the material plane. They are characterized by their lack of sapience or higher thinking, meaning most have less than 3 INT (the intelligence of an infant.) Most of them can attack using natural weapons.

Predatory animals are typically territorial and quick to attack other creatures on sight, while the rest of the animal world is more ambivalent and skittish. Animals can be tamed by a Beastlord and summoned using certain spells.
