Bestiary > Elementals

Direct manifestations of the elemental powers of magic that permeate the multiverse: Fire, Frost, Air, Earth, Life and Water. These beings are not divinely created by any higher power, and rather coalesce into life out of the independent semi-sentience of the Draconic chaos attempting to protect itself and its most loyal defenders.

Elementals are generally immune to their own element.

2 Gargoyle CE 15, 16, 11, 10, 6, 11, 7 60 ft/rd flight. Living statues that sprout horns and wings. Doublestrike 1d6+2. Immune to poison. -5 armor.
2 Ochre Jelly - 15, 14, 6, 8, 2, 6, 1 2d6+2 damage. Splits into 2 more jellies with half health every time it takes damage and still has more than 10 health.
2 Slime Cube - 14, 20, 3, 6, 1, 6, 1 Transparent; creatures must roll WIS DC 15 to spot a cube that hasn't moved yet. 3d6 Nature/Toxin damage, nat 6 sucks the victim in, requiring a STR DC 12 check to pull. If they stay, they take 6d6 damage per turn.
2 Treant Sapling CG* 17, 15, 8, 12, 12, 12, 10 Doublestrike 1d10+3. -2 armor.
3 Water Demon - 17, 13, 16, 13, 11, 10, 10 Misnomer; not actually a demon. Guardian spirit of water that sleeps in fountains and other containers and will awaken if disturbed by movement. 3d6+3, nat 6 grapples.
4 Black Pudding - 16, 16, 5, 7, 1, 6, 1 Combination of Grey and Ochre oozes.
5 Air Elemental N 14, 14, 20, 15, 6, 10, 6 Doublestrike 2d8+5, nat 8 casts gust of wind. Can squeeze through 1 inch gaps, and is immune to grapples or restraint.
5 Earth Elemental N 20, 20, 8, 12, 5, 10, 5 Doublestrike 2d8+5. Resistant to non magical melee damage. -5 armor. Can burrow into non magical ground without disturbing it.
5 Fire Elemental N 10, 16, 17, 13, 6, 10, 7 Doublestrike 2d8+5, igniting flammable objects. Can squeeze through 1 inch gaps, and is immune to grapples or restraint.
5 Water Elemental N 18, 18, 14, 14, 5, 10, 8 Doublestrike 2d8+5, nat 8 grapples. Can squeeze through 1 inch gaps, and is immune to grapples or restraint.
6 Petrophage N 20, 20, 14, 10, 11, 12, 11 Living boulder that loves eating gems, crystals and ores, and can be easily goaded using them. 2d6+5, goes up to 4d6+5 with a rolling charge. Can stonemeld. -6 armor.

11 Dao NE 23, 24, 12, 10, 12, 13, 14 Tyrants that dwell in the hearts of the planes. See Greater Earth Elemental. As a genie, it can grant one wish to a similarly aligned creature. Doublestrike 2d8+6. -8 armor.
11 Djinni CG 21, 22, 15, 17, 15, 16, 20 Benevolent freedom spirits from the skies. See Greater Air Elemental. As a good genie, it can grant three wishes to a good creature. Triplestrike 2d6+5. Can cast pale rapture.
11 Ifrit LE 22, 24, 12, 15, 16, 15, 16 Haughty, cruel and ruthless slavers of mortals. As a genie, it can grant one wish to any creature- though Ifrit specifically delight in perverting wording to torment victims. Doublestrike 2d6+6. Can cast fireball.
11 Marid CN 22, 26, 12, 16, 18, 17, 18 Noble and aristocratic among genie kind. As a genie, it can grant one wish to any creature, but only if it impresses the Marid. Doublestrike 2d8+6.
18 Elder Tempest N 18, 24, 24, 22, 16, 21, 23 150 ft/rd flight. See Greater Air Elemental. Doublestrike 6d8+7. Can cast ball lightning and haste twice and summon elemental once. Can forcefully resist 3 effects per day at will.
18 Phoenix N 19, 22, 24, 17, 15, 16, 23 120 ft/rd flight. See Greater Fire Elemental. Doublestrike 5d8+8. Can cast whirling ebonpyre twice and summon elemental once. Can forcefully resist 3 effects per day at will. When it dies, it casts fireball and reverts into an indestructible egg that hatches it again at full health in 6 days.
19 Leviathan N 27, 30, 24, 27, 2, 18, 17 120 ft/rd swim. See Greater Water Elemental. Doublestrike 4d10+8, nat 8 casts tsunami twice and summon elemental once. Cannot be grappled. Can forcefully resist 3 effects per day at will.
