Human only. Also known as Raven Templar, Night Templar, Dark Knight, Shadow Knight or Threshecutioner. A member of a military order from a faraway nation known for its dark misty forests, black witches and sea monsters.

Their code of honor consists of seeking out and annihilating tyrants at any cost. Having had to fight Hylonians for hundreds of years, Templars hold a personal grudge against their authority that leads them to value personal freedom above all. They do not need to eat, drink or sleep, but must meditate semi-awake nightly.

Templars must travel to Duskrest, the capital of Korak for their promotion. They must seek out a Witch for forgiveness if they ever break their oath.

Level 2: Raven Templars may spend an action to slip into the shadows, becoming functionally invisible beyond arm's length in low light environments to any creature without truesight or darksight. A strike from the shadows rolls with advantage for accuracy and damage and reveals them to the enemy.

Level 5: The awareness of the presence of a Raven Templar without being able to see them invokes dread in sentient mortal humanoids, which disadvantages them on DEX, AGI, INT, WIS and CHA rolls. They may cast the spell banish once per day per 5 levels.

Level 10: Templars may step through shadows once per 3 levels daily, melting into obscurity to appear at any distant point continuously connected by the same shadow. They may also cast the spell darkness once per day per 10 levels.

Level 15: Templars gain the ability to drape shadows in a surrounding area of radius equal to their level in feet, under which all allies inherit the ability to slip into shadows. They also gain the ability to produce raven wings and fly a combined 500 feet per day, and may cast the spells midnight calliope and midnight crew once per day each.
